Formed in 2010, Social Brighton is a social media consultancy offering training, strategy, content creation and management services. They work with everyone from local businesses to national brands such as Fullers, Toni & Guy and Picturehouse Cinemas.
They approached me to create a logo and simple brand identity system they could use across a multitude of assets and channels.
Based on the idea that they are at the centre of everything social, I created a logotype placed between a deconstructed hashtag. As they exist predominantly within the digital space, it was important to create an animated version of the logo as well.
To accompany the new logo, an image bank of gradients was formed by amalgamating social media company brand colours resulting in a varied, rather than sticking to traditional brand palette. [*EDIT*}
